For all of my Black Harry Potter fans, dive into a world that many of us have never seen before in Tomi Adeyemi’s Children of Blood and Bone. The Great Migration - Black History Month Photo Series
For Black History Month, I’ll be hosting a few series. This week, I’m showcasing family photos that my mom has collected over the years. People featured in photos are my cousins, aunts/uncles, great-aunts/uncles, mother, grandparents, etc. Most of my family (on my mother’s side) migrated from Mobile, Alabama and other neighboring cities to Detroit, MI. Some locations for photos are unknown but most are in Detroit or down south in Alabama or Georgia. I hope you all enjoy these
